Sun is credited with creating the world’s first VCD players and Authoring System in 1993. He is currently a visiting professor and consultant for the National Chiao Tung University Business School, consultant at the National Taiwan University of Electrical Engineering, professor at Beijing University Information Technology Graduate School and an advisor at Luxtera. Sun was the founder of C2 Microsystems Inc., Jeecom Inc., Digital Video Systems, Inc., C-Cube Microsystems and Wietek Corp. He also worked at Hewlett Packard and General Electric. Sun led three successful IPO’s on NASDAQ, one on KOSDQ in Korea and one on JASDAQ in Tokyo.
