Olivier Robin is the General Manager, Americas and Europe for Ethertronics, and is responsible for overseeing the company’s regional sales efforts, as well as design centers in San Diego and Copenhagen.

Robin brings more than 12 years’ business development, management and engineering experience in RF and antenna systems to the company. Prior to joining Ethertronics, Robin was Business Development Director for Rayspan Corporation’s operations in Europe and China, where he was responsible for working with OEM, ODM and EMS customers on an array of devices, and managing all products designed for Europe and China. Robin’s experience additionally includes serving in a variety of roles within Shanghai Amphenol Airwave over the course of four years, including Antenna Research and Technology Team Manager, Nokia Account Manager, and Senior RF Engineer for the company’s customers in US, Taiwan and Europe. He has also held roles in antenna and RF design and management for Centurion Electronic in Shanghai, China; EPCOS OHG in Deutschlandsberg, Austria; and Altran, Neweng AB in Stockholm, Sweden.

Robin owns three patents in antenna design, with several patents pending. He received a civil engineering degree in electronics and telecommunications from Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Ingénieurs de Limoges (ENSIL) in Limoges, France, as well as licensing in high-frequency electronics and opto-electronics from ENSIL’s Institut de Recherche en Communication Optiques et Microondes (IRCOM). He is fluent in French, English and Swedish.
