For RAKS the antenna vendor decision was a critical part of the product development equation. Their objective was to optimize performance, but critical design elements posed serious threats to the RF (radio-frequency) performance. The devices are multi-band and feature a large, color screen. The mechanical design required that the digital camera actually go through the middle of the antenna structure, making the overall design extremely complex.
