Ethertronics, the leading developer and manufacturer of high performance internal (embedded) antennas for personal and industrial wireless devices, today announced that it has expanded operations in Asia to provide localized sales and technical support. In response to strong demand from Asian wireless hardware manufacturers in Ethertronics'versatile, internal antenna technology, the company has appointed Ben Lam to head up the sales effort as the Director, Asia Sales, and Jung Hsu to oversee technical support as the Applications Engineer, Asia. They will be based in Hong Kong and Taiwan, respectively.

Ethertronics sells a unique and patented internal antenna technology, Isolated Magnetic Dipole™ (IMD), for Cellular, Bluetooth, WLAN and GPS applications, to original equipment and design manufacturers (OEMs/ODMs), and has spent the past year establishing strong customer and channel relationships in Asia. It has partnered with King Horn Enterprises, which handles Ethertronics product sales in Hong Kong and mainland China; Etron Corporation which handles Korea; and Professional Computer Technology, Ltd. (PCT Ltd.) which covers Taiwan. Working with these established channel partners, Ethertronics'Asia team will be able to better service customers, improve response times and avoid costly shipping delays.
