(NASDAQ: TUNE). Microtune, a leading radio-frequency (RF)-based silicon and systems supplier, deployed the Ethertronics patented, embedded antenna technology in a customized Bluetooth solution developed for Skypower Wireless, Ltd. to enable hands-free communications in Skypower's EZtalk™ headsets and EZclip™ earsets. Ethertronics' M Series™ embedded antennas, which combine high performance, isolation and selectivity in an ultra thin Ôblade' design, offer flexible mounting options on a headset product's printed circuit board (PCB). Ethertronics supported Microtune in the development and testing of the Skypower headset design, which tailored the technology from the two companies for various Skypower product enclosures, while delivering optimum wireless performance, low power consumption, accelerated product design cycles and cost savings.
