KYOCERA AVX Contributes $1 Million to Clemson University’s New Advanced Materials Innovation Complex
Clemson University has received a $1 million contribution from the KYOCERA AVX Foundation to support its new Advanced Materials Innovation Complex (AMIC), reinforcing a partnership focused on advancing innovation, talent development and manufacturing. In recognition of the gift, Clemson will name the facility’s main lobby the KYOCERA AVX Lobby. The Advanced Materials Innovation Complex is designed as a central hub for interdisciplinary research, industrial collaboration and workforce development in materials and advanced manufacturing technologies. The complex aims to facilitate discovery and commercialization across sectors including electronics, energy, and manufacturing — areas aligned with Clemson’s research priorities and KYOCERA AVX’s expertise.
